Putti Sculptures

$150.00

Winged spirits full of cheeky fun and joie de vivre, Putti are companions and observers meant to brighten up even the dullest of moments and spaces. No relation to that bow-and-arrow wielding clown, Putti are year-round purveyors of joy and occasional schadenfreude—whatever brings you a smile, they don’t judge.

One-of-a-kind, and meant to be placed on the edge of a shelf or flat object so they can sit and observe, these Putti belong to the first five ever produced, are signed and numbered by the artist on their cute little bottoms, and will feature upcycled materials that may not be the same used in future iterations. No two are alike and 100% of net proceeds from sculpture sales will go to fire relief efforts in Los Angeles and on Maui.

All sculpture sales are final.

Method
Body of polymer sculpting clay is shaped and positioned by hand, then baked until firm. Hand painted with multiple layers of acrylic paint, then embellished individually with details like varying eyes, smiles, lashes, heels, and wings from differing materials giving each Putti its own unique personality.

Materials
Mixed media. Body—Polymer clay, acrylic paint, wood, upcycled fake lashes. Wings—upcycled rayon, acrylic, copper wire, glue

Content + Care
Gently dust off with a small soft brush, make-up brushes work great. Wiping is not encouraged, do not use cleaners of any kind on Putti as it may remove paint. Think of these as four-dimensional paintings.

Size
Every Putti measures approximately 2.5” tall from head to toe, with wings 1.25” at its longest. Head measures approximately 1.5” wide, legs can vary in positioning so splay width can vary. Lashes measure on average .38” long.
